    Ashleigh Chevalier is free spirited , bold and gritty, sweet and soul filled. Her genre bending vocals beckon wanderers ftom the streets , her songs groove the jammiest of grooves, her dynamic energetic stage performances stop audiences everywhere she performs. Ashleigh will release her next album Burnin’ Down Fall of of 2016. From the Soles, her debut album produced by Grammy Winner Jon Carroll, was nominated for a Washington Area Music Association WAMMIE award for Best Recording in its genre.

    Ashleigh Chevalier has performed all over the region at festivals, theaters (The Birchmere, The Recher Theater in Maryland, The Hamilton in D.C., The State Theater in Falls Church, State Theater in Culpeper), and listening rooms. She has opened for KANSAS, Devon Allman (twice), BMA Winner Samantha Fish (twice), Alligator Records Jarekus Singleton (twice), Walter Parks (Richie Havens guitarist). She has shared the stage with Devon Allman at The State Theater, NBC Idol Winner Anthony Campbell, Modern Yesterday’s Andrew Hellier, and Steve Jarrell (The Prophets), and several of James Brown’s Jewels—including Ms. Margie and Ms. Bears.

    Her original music is proudly played on radio stations across the states. She also had the distinct honor of performing several of her own original pieces with the MidAtlantic Wind Symphony. Ashleigh Chevalier’s band features award winning guitar player, Bruce Middle, drummer Toby Fairchild (Keller Williams) and bass player EJ Shaw. Special guests include Jon Carroll (Mary Chapin Carpenter. Starland Vocal Band) on keys and Ron Holloway (Warren Haynes, Susan Tedeschi, Grace Potter) on tenor saxophone.
